Neil and Shayle Duckworth

 

Neil left Falcon College in 1994 and went to work as an apprentice hunter on Mokore Ranch for a year.   After completing his learner hunter's license he went on to study Agricultural Management at Blackfordby College in Zimbabwe.  Whilst studying at Blackfordby College, he obtained his Professional Hunters license in 1997 at a young age of 21 years.  Shayle is married to Neil, they have two children, Rachel and Daniel. Shayle is involved with the running of the  hunting operation.

From TETE - Tandikwe Bush Camp, Coutada 9, Macossa

 

Go South on the 103 to Changara Circle.

Tete to Changara Circle - 90km.  

At Circle head South towards Chimoio.

Changara to Macossa turn off - 108km.

There is a big cell phone tower here at the turn off to Macossa.  

You turn left down this dirt road.

Go down this dirt road for approximately 47km.  

You will get to a white rustic sign on the side of the road saying that the area is a wildlife area etc..  and a kudu skull on a tree.  

 

If you have a 4x4

You turn left here.  

You continue for 17.6km and there is a T-Junction with a signpost saying camp/workshop. Keep to the right.

Stay on road, you will cross 2 rivers.

In approx 5km arrive at Tandikwe Camp.

 

For Njiri Eco Camp - Drive up to Tandikwe Camp and Turn Right, drive for 6km Njiri Eco Camp is on the left hand side.

If you get to the workshops (fenced area) – you have gone 400 meters too far!

 

If you do not have a 4x4

Continue past this turn for a further 20km.

There will be a kudu skull attached to a post on your left.

Turn left here.

Continue straight for 13km, Njiri Eco Camp is on your left straight after workshop area (fenced area).

For Tandikwe continue straight for a further 7km - arrive at camp.

From CHIMOIO - Tandikwe Bush Camp, Coutada 9, Macossa

 

Head East out of Chimoio towards Zimbabwe for approx 19km.

Turn Right heading Northbound on the Tete road for 163km.

You will see a small town here with a big red and white cell phone tower on the right hand side of the road and a sign post to MACOSSA, turn right here.

Go down this dirt road for approximately 47km.

Daniel Enslin and Kerrie Brown

 

Dainel and Kerrie are the newest members to join the Mokore family, having started in 2017. Even though they are the newest members Daniel and Kerrie have experience and knowledge when it comes to safari operations. Having grown up in Gwaii Valley Daniel started hunting from an early age and found his calling. The most precious finding along his way is his partneer Kerrie, and together they have two boys Zac and Josh.
